New Blog URL: It's official folks!

o-face

Mike-Recommends.net is now my official site url! It was a long time coming too. You should have re-directed you to that url. Re-bookmark the site with my new url as well. Now that I have figured it all out, I’m going to discuss some things I plan to do looking toward the sites future.

The NK feed is staying, as well as the calendar of posts, and all of the other info located on the side. That’s all I have for now, not looking to many any extremely big moves, but any other ideas are welcome. Comment away! If you’re a first time visitor, and have no idea what’s going on, I encourage you to browse around and take a good look at everything the site has to offer. It offers a lot.

Check back again soon!

I plan to find a new layout for the site, appearing within the next month. If you have anything you would like to recommend, please let me know, as your suggestion would be appreciated. I have set up hosting with Go Daddy. Go daddy is very reliable and you can start hosting a new .com for only 9.99!

Until next post, why don’t you browse around for a bit? You won’t be disappointed.

Speed up that pre-historic PC – Monday Aug. 18th

Happy Monday! Wait what? Who says that….haha, well I did. Anywho, On Saturday morning, I found a great program that optimizes and speeds up your computer for how much? FREE! Can’t beat that price tag. The program is called Speed It Up (version 4.90) This program optimizes your hard drives speed, and cleans up all your internet settings. This program really freed space on my hard drive. I strongly recommend this program to anyone who is in need of a quick fix. It does take awhile depending on your PC, but trust me, after it finishes, you’ll notice your PC is a lot snappier. Also it has an option where you can speed up your PC when you are away from it. I’ll take it! They also throw in a PC Checkup application which also analyzes and cleans up any unnecessary files that are just sitting there. You can download Speed It Up by going to
this link here.

From the page:

SpeedItUp Free will speed up any computer system running Windows XP or Microsoft Windows Vista. It works by using New Hard-Disk optimization technology that allows your computer to read data in some cases up to 300% faster from your Hard Drive.

SpeedItup Free then optimizes your RAM and makes other settings to speed up your Internet connection and overall computer performance.

300% faster huh? Sounds like a good thing to me. You’re welcome. I hope this program is a success for everybody.

Site Update: I added a G4’s RSS of The Feed to the sidebar, also a way to subscribe to my site feed, so you always stay updated on whats going on here. More features to come in the future!
